K.T.S. TULSI

Mr. K.T.S. Tulsi belongs to “Sikh Community” and is a very senior, famous and experienced Lawyer practicing at Supreme Court, Delhi High Court and often goes to Chandigarh High-Court from where he started practice during his starting. He was born on 7th November 1947 at District Hosiarpur (Punjab). He studied at Punjab University and did his law in 1971.

He worked very hard while establishing his private practice and did part time job as lecturer and wrote 2 books “Tulsi’s Digest of Accident Cases” & “Landlord –Tenant Cases”.

He started practicing as a criminal lawyer and in 1987 he was appointed as a Senior Advocate and in 1990 he was appointed as Additional Solicitor General of India. Since 1994 he is the President of Criminal Justice Society of India. He has represented Indian Government more than 10 times in Supreme Court. Some of such cases are of constitutional validity of the now extinct Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act. Assassination of Rajiv Gandhi (Ex. PM of India), Robert Vadra, Victims of Uphar Cinema Hall case of New Delhi.

In 2014 he was nominated as a member of Rajya Sabha of Parliament.

No doubt, that Mr. Tulsi has equal command on both civil and criminal cases, but he is famous as a big criminal Lawyer of India.

Young Advocates use to carefully listen to his arguments in Court and appreciate the way he puts his case and convince the Judge.

Since, he basically belongs to Punjab therefore, he has a very good clientage from states of Punjab and Haryana.

There can be none other Advocate like Mr. Tulsi. He is a great personality, very Sober and Highly learned Lawyer.
