ARYAMA SUNDARAM

Mr. C.A. Sundaram is one of the top successful Lawyer of Supreme Court. He was born on 22nd April, 1957 in Chennai. He originally belongs to Chennai (Tamil-Nadu) in a traditional family that had produced lawyers over 5 generations. Aryama’s grandfather C.P. Ramaswamy Aiyar was a renowned lawyer. His uncle C.R. Pattabhiraman too was a renowned lawyer and went on to become the Law Minister in Indira Grandhi’s Government in 1960.

Mr. Sundaram completed his Schooling from the Lawrence School, Lovedale. He graduated in 1976 from Vivekanand College, Chennai and was a gold medalist in philosophy.

His mother was a medical doctor.

Mr. C.A. Sundaram, enrolled with the Madras Bar Council on 26th Nov. 1980 and joined the Law Firm called King and Partridge.

C. A. Sundaram joined the chamber of Late Mr. Ramasubramanian, Senior Advocate Madras High Court, and he worked very hard with him.

During his initial years he use to give several legal opinions to corporate clients. And in 1989, he was made Central Government’s Standing Counsel. He continued in the post and in 1995 was made a senior Advocate by Madras High Court.

Today, Mr.Sundram is an excellent Advocate in Supreme Court. Most of the time he is seen busy arguing corporate cases. He loves spending his time in his house in KodaiKanal during vacations and one can also see him smoking cigars sitting in his long Mercedeze Benz Car when coming out from Supreme Court at 4 PM.

He represented N. Srinivasan BCCI President and also appeared in I.P.L. cricket cases in Supreme Court. Many young Advocates became a successful Advocate after joining and working long with him at his chamber. Mr. Sundaram is basically a civil side Lawyer and has good command in Law.
