AMAN LEKHI

Mr. Aman Lekhi is the son of renowned Senior Advocate of Delhi High Court Late Shri Pran Nath Lekhi. He himself is the Senior Advocate in the Delhi High Court, Supreme Court and was the Additional Solicitor General of India. He is named in the list of top 100 Legal Luminaries of India. Since childhood he was topper in his Class. He did his schooling from St. Xavier’s School Delhi and thereafter he graduated with distinction in Political Science (Hons.) from Hindu College University of Delhi and received a Degree in Law with 1st Division from Campus Law Centre University of Delhi. He is married to a Lawyer and Member of Parliament Mrs. Meenakshi Lekhi.

A Senior Advocate like Mr. Aman Lekhi’s practice covers several legal disciplines. Apart from appearing in the Coal Allocation Scam, 2G Spectrum Case and CWG Scam case, he appeared for Ashish Nandy in a case that involved controversy regarding the latter’s alleged Anti-Dalit remarks that the Jaipur Literature Festival 2013 He also argued case under RTI against UPSC with regard to Civil Services Exam 2006 subsequent to which UPSC had to change the pattern of Examination itself. He was a Lawyer for Zee Network in cases involving Naveen Jindal.

People still remembers his successful arguments before Armed Force Tribunal for release of the Army Personnel on bail after they had been Court Martialled in the only proceedings instituted by the Army against its own personnel.

In 2018, due to his merit he was appointed as Additional Solicitor General of India by Union Law Minister. And the List of the successful and big number of cases argued by Mr. Aman Lekhi is very exhaustive. He lives in South Extn. Part-II, Near AIIMS, New Delhi in a huge House and is fond of and is the owner of many imported Luxury Cars. Even his son is also a young Advocate.
